TAPIntoWestfield: I Support Linda Habgood for Westfield Town Council Ward 1
By LIZ MILLER
Over the years we have seen lots of change in our town, much of it very positive. The continual revitalization of downtown has had a very positive impact. But the continued increase in vacancies and the lack of parking remains an ongoing challenge. I believe everyone in town is aligned with the same desire to see our schools and our local businesses prosper. It important to have a long-term plan and strategy to address these issues.
I’m proud to endorse Linda Habgood's candidacy for a Ward 1 town council seat. I have known Linda for almost 20 years -– first as a friend, then serving on numerous school and church committees together and most recently as a neighbor. Linda is a great leader. She listens to people, her passion and conviction convinces people to get involved and share their ideas and opinions. Linda uses this to find ways to solve any problem in her path. I saw this in action when I hosted a coffee at my house years ago to gain support for the bond for the centralized kindergarten. She committed her time and endless energy rallying community support to get the bond passed. Linda’s strong leadership skills combined with fresh ideas will help us tackle the tough issues we are facing today and tomorrow in Westfield.
